Gioia Messinger is an accomplished serial entrepreneur and executive with an extensive background in connected devices, digital health, robotics/AI, and video technologies. She serves as founder and Principal of LinkedObjects, Inc., a technology and business strategy firm specialized in the Internet of Things, and as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of California, San Diego. Messinger was the Chief Judge for the Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE, a $10 million competition to bring healthcare to the palm of your hands, and the Nokia Sensing XCHALLENGE, a competition to transform medical sensors.

She received her Master's degree in Business Administration, with highest distinction, from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine and B.S./M.A. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
