John Gleber is a Managing Director and the Co-head of Origination and Structuring for Municipal Capital Markets Group at Mizuho Bank.  In addition, he also oversees the bank's foundation, sits on the CRA committee, and has several outside leadership roles including sitting of the board of advisors for NYU.

With 15 years of industry experience, John provides innovative and best-in-class financing solutions for a broad range of clients across the market.  John’s business often partners with Bank’s Global Social Finance in order to deliver these resources to CRA-qualified financing opportunities for affordable housing and similar projects.  This partnership allows Mizuho to serve its global mission of providing socially conscious and responsible financing to critical-need development projects while also executing client transactions and earning suitable returns for the Bank’s shareholders.  John is a trusted advisor and counterparty to his client portfolio, including the largest and most prominent market participations such as mutual funds, pension funds, non-profits, municipalities, specialty investment companies, equity investors and developers.  John graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida where he was selected to represent the of the Warrington College of Business as the Valedictorian.
