Prashanth’s journey into crypto began unexpectedly while he was on faculty at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, working on humanitarian initiatives in Haiti. Tasked with helping women entrepreneurs launch agricultural businesses, Prashanth discovered the harsh realities of operating without secure savings, safe transactions between villages, or reliable cross-border payments. Inspired by friends at Foldapp, he and his team built a pioneering banking prototype on Ethereum soon after its launch—an experience that cemented his belief that crypto’s true value lies in lowering the cost of trust worldwide.
Beyond crypto, Prashanth spent several years, under U.S. Department of Energy funding, driving down the cost of solar power. He also contributed to AI research at Tesla and holds multiple renewable energy products and patents to his name. Today, Prashanth channels his diverse expertise to help organizations harness crypto and AI for greater operational efficiency, remaining committed to transforming global economies through accessible and secure technology solutions.
