Susan is XPRIZE’s Senior Director, Stakeholder Relationships where she leads the fundraising efforts with corporations, foundations, governments and other nonprofit organizations in order to scale impact. She also focuses on identifying, developing, and leveraging partnerships to increase brand awareness and engagement, as well as generate revenue. Prior to her current role, Susan was XPRIZE’s Director of Marketing & Communications where she led the marketing efforts on the $30M Google Lunar XPRIZE, and spearheaded the launch of the $20M NRG COSIA Carbon XPRIZE.
Before XPRIZE, Susan was the Director of Marketing & Corporate Development at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica, and the founder of Silicon Beach Marketing. While living in New York City, Susan created and ran PEOPLE magazine’s Entertainment Marketing department, as well as the magazine’s high-profile charity outreach and cause-related events.
Susan received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Environmental Studies from Franklin & Marshall College, and then studied Geology at the Colorado School of Mines. She is also a certified Whole Health Educator and Coach.
